Dat Blockhus Glowe – Rügeninsel

Dat Blockhus Glowe is a small, but picturesque, beach town on the island of Rügen in Germany. The main attraction in Glowe is the Dat Blockhus, a historic house that is said to date back to the early 18th century. The Dat Blockhus is open to the public and houses a small museum, as well as a café and shop.

Glowe also has a beautiful sandy beach which is perfect for swimming, sunbathing and windsurfing. There are also a number of hiking and cycling trails in the area, making it the perfect place to explore the island of Rügen.

Although Glowe is a relatively small town, it has a lot to offer tourists. As well as the Dat Blockhus and the beach, there are a number of restaurants, cafes and shops. There is also a golf course and a number of other sports facilities.

The only downside to Glowe is that it can be quite crowded in the summer months. However, if you visit outside of the peak season, you will find that it is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the island of Rügen.
